The Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) workshop will alter the student’s perspective of maintenance management and demonstrate ways to attain the stability that enables maintenance program development and sustainment. This new perspective of maintenance management empowers the student to create reliability by exposing a multitude of things that seed unreliability. The CMM provides the skill sets to manage the seemingly unmanageable. This is the “How to stand in the space of creation” and create the unique asset program that will deliver reliability sustained by a maintenance program. The knowing of CMM is aligned to the CRL “Being of reliability leadership” through the uptime elements. Regardless of which certification you pursue first they lead to a world of creation and empowerment. There is a clear difference between the CRL and the CMM, though both share the foundation of uptime elements.
The Certified Reliability Leader workshop (CRL) teaches the knowing/learning part of the Uptime Elements Reliability Framework so students can begin to master the language, words, phrases, ideas and concepts and to enhance the knowledge needed to perform well on the Certified Reliability Leader exam. The CRL leads students to discover for themselves what it is to “BE” a Reliability Leader and to exercise reliability leadership as natural selfexpression. This enables students to take a stand and communicate the “Why” of each of the uptime elements.
